Shootout in Bharatpur: Jhamri shot in head by three men on bike, dies

Bharatpur: In Bharatpur’s Atalbandh police station area, a young man was shot in the head in broad daylight outside the bus stand on Sunday by three miscreants, who came on a bike. A large number of police have been deployed on the spot.

The deceased, Ajay Jhamri, was a resident of Jhamri village in Bayana police station area and was attacked earlier also. He was going on foot from Hiradas Square towards Kali Bagichi when he was shot. After some time, the police reached the spot and took Ajay to RBM Hospital, where he was declared dead.

It is being said that Ajay was shot by Tejveer, a resident of Kauder. Tejveer was with his two accomplices. Police have put a blockade to nab the accused.

Meanwhile, DGP Umesh Mishra has given instructions to arrest the criminals soon. The attackers have been identified and are said to be Jhamri’s acquaintances.
