Shocking: Woman’s wrong body reaches, family denies to accept
Sri Ganganagar: The body of the wife of a businessman from Sri Ganganagar who died in the Amarnath cloudburst got exchanged and the family refused to accept the body on arrival. Retired CI Sushil Khatri and textile businessman Mohanlal Wadhwa’s bodies were identified by the family members that arrived in New Delhi from Srinagar on Saturday night. In place of Sunita Wadhwa, the body of another woman reached New Delhi.
The Wadhwa family are in New Delhi to collect the bodies. The body of Sunita Wadhwa of Sri Ganganagar was found after whole night’s efforts and the family identified it via a video call with the local authorities. After identification, Khatri’s body reached Sri Ganganagar on Saturday night. Khatri’s body was kept at his Mansarovar Colony residence on Sunday morning and the last rites were performed in the afternoon.
