Shekhawat secures Rs 938 cr for Jodhpur Project
Jodhpur: Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, has successfully brought the long-awaited Jodhpur Elevated Road project to fruition. The four-lane, 7.6 km road, which will run from Mahamandir Chowraha to Akhaliya Chowraha, is set to ease traffic congestion and boost the city’s development. The NHAI has issued the tender for the project, valued at Rs 938 crore.
Shekhawat expressed his gratitude to PM Modi and Union Minister of Road Transport Nitin Gadkari for their support. He confirmed that once the tender process is complete, work will begin promptly. The project is expected to educe traffic pressure on Jodhpur’s central areas.
