Shekhawat, Poonia attend Bhagwat Katha at Seer Vijay Das’ village

Bharatpur: Several BJP leaders including Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, state president Satish Poonia, Alwar MP Balak Nath, Bharatpur MP Ranjeeta Koli and others attended Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organised in Pasopa village of Bharatpur on Thursday and targeted the state government. Baba Vijay Das had self immolated in the village few days back during anti-mining agitation.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekhawat said that the sacrifice of Baba Vijay Das will not go in vain. He alleged that CM Ashok Gehlot wants to silence his voice. “The state government is guilty of bringing Baba Vijay Das to the point of suicide. This matter should be investigated,” he said. Satish Poonia also held the government guilty in the self-immolation case of Baba Vijay Das and said that he committed suicide due to the failure of law and order. “Since Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot himself is the Home Minister, he is guilty of this whole matter,” he said
