Shekhawat blames Gehlot govt for water crisis in Jodh

Jodhpur: Union Minister for Jal Shakti and BJP candidate from Jodhpur GS Shekhawat held several public meetings in the Luni constituency on Wednesday. In Jodhpur, he blamed the previous Congress govt for water crisis. He stated that if the Gehlot govt had initiated work on third phase of the Lift Canal in 2018, the people of Jodhpur wouldn’t be facing water scarcity today.

During his addresses, Shekhawat praised the Modi govt for initiating the construction of four reservoirs in Jodhpur to address water crisis. He mentioned that Rs 1,400 cr have been allocated for this project, & it is expected to be completed within next six months.
