Shanell Irani, Arjun Bhalla tie knot at Khimsar

Nagaur: The daughter of Union Cabinet Minister Smriti Irani and Zubin Irani, Shanelle was married to Arjun Bhalla on Friday at the famous Khimsar Fort hotel in Nagaur district.

The wedding functions began on Thursday at heritage property, a 15th-century fort converted to a hotel, in the presence of close family members and friends. The fort was beautifully decorated with kites and other items.

Haldi and Mehndi rituals took place on Wednesday, a day before the wedding. After this, in the evening, a musical night program on sand dunes. Performances by Rajasthani folk artists were also given, sources said.

During this, guests from both sides were seen dancing to Bollywood and Rajasthani songs. Smriti Irani was clad in a golden-coloured saree.

Special preparations were made for the wedding at the fort. The sand dunes were decorated with lights and flowers.
On Thursday evening, the groom arrived with a baraat procession on a white mare, where Union Minister Smriti Irani, her husband Zubin Irani, former Rajasthan minister Gajendra Singh and other members from the bride’s family welcomed the baraatis.
