Senior officials of ATS-SOG visit Odha railway bridge explosion site in Udpr

Udaipur: The anti-terrorist squad and special operations group of Rajasthan Police on Tuesday began its probe into the Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway track blast following directions from CM Ashok Gehlot. Senior officials of the police department on Tuesday visited the explosion site at Odha railway bridge near Udaipur and probed the terror angle in the case. The railway bridge is situated on the UdaipurAhmedabad rail route and was damaged through a detonator blast on Saturday night. ADG (ATS-SOG) Ashok Rathore, ADG (Intelligence) S Sengathir, IG (ATS-SOG) Vikas Kumar, SP Udaipur Vikas Sharma, officials of Gujarat ATS, NIA and NSG inspected the incident spot and sought details in the matter. “This could be a suspected terrorist act. Security agencies are investigating the matter with a terror angle and suspected people are being interrogated in the matter. The case will be solved very soon,” said ADG (Intelligence) S Sengathir.
