Security beefed up in Ajmer ahead of Sheikh Hasina’s visit

Ajmer: Preps are afoot for the visit of Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina to Ajmer on Sept 8. This is her third visit to Ajmer. Hasina will travel by road from Jaipur to Ajmer. She will first reach Circuit House here & then visit the Dargah. She would then return to Circuit House & then leave for Jaipur. Hasina will be in Ajmer for 4 hours. Tight security arrangements have been made for this. During her visit to Dargah, it will be completely evacuated and market will also be closed. Ajmer Range IG Rupinder Singh said 1500 policemen deployed, including half-a-dozen IPS officers.
