Secrecy breach: FIR against Cong candidate, BAP worker
Banswara: Arthuna police has filed an FIR against Congress candidate Shankarlal and a BAP worker under the Representation of the People Act for violating the secrecy of voters. The BAP worker is accused of pressurizing voters to vote in favour of his own party.
Police have registered two FIRs in this regard. The first report has been filed by Dinesh, resident of Sajjangarh who was on security duty at booth no. 201 at Majiya senior secondary school in Arthuna. Meanwhile, Badanlal Charpota misbehaved with PRO Harendra Kumar Katara. The PRO was threatened and pressurized him to conduct voting in favour of BAP.
The second report has been filed by PRO Harendra Katara, who said that Badanlal Charpota came to the polling booth with two of his supporters and violated the secrecy of the voters. The SHO Arthuna police station Narendra Singh Bhati informed that investigations have been initiated on both FIRs.
