SDM, REENGUS DSP SUSPENDED; GATES FOR VIP DARSHAN SEALED

Sikar: With the reports of CM Gehlot Ashok deciding to hold a meeting on Wednesday regarding the stampede at Khatu Shyam ji temple, the govt on Tuesday suspended SDM Dantaramgarh Rajesh K Meena-II and DSP Reengus Surendra Singh for dereliction of duty. A departmental inquiry has been initiated against Meena. DGP ML Lather issued an order for suspension of the DSP. Meanwhile, an FIR under section 304A of IPC was also registered against members of Temple trust on Tuesday.

Trust President Shambhu Singh, Minister Shyam Singh, Treasurer Kalu Singh, Pratap Singh, & Bhawani Singh have been named in FIR. The FIR was registered by Palsana Block Cong President Ramdev Singh Khokhar. However, the district admin of Sikar on Tuesday closed all VIP gates of temple in compliance to the decisions taken on Monday. The VIP routes were covered through a tin shed and the gates were sealed by officials of district admin. Collector Avichal Chaturvedi, SP Kunwar Rastradeep and others were present.
