Savitribai Phule is nation’s first female teacher: Vaibhav

Jaitaran: RCA Chairman Vaibhav Gehlot attended the inauguration of Mali (Saini) Samaj Sansthan building as chief guest in the city on Thursday. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the building, Vaibhav Gehlot said that Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Mata Savitribai Phule are worshiped by the entire society and are our esteemed guide. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule talked about the upliftment of not only Mali society but of all communities. Mata Savitribai Phule is the first female teacher of our nation and she ignited the flame of women’s education at a time when no importance was given to it. Thus, both are very important in our lives, he added.

Vaibhav also unveiled statues of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule.
