Sanitation workers take out rally, stage protest in Niwai

Niwai (Tonk): The sanitation workers under the Niwai Municipality on Thursday took out a rally and protested against the Nagar Palika decision to not take the services of sanitation workers who are not from the Valmiki Community.

Safai Karamchari Union President Rakesh Patan and other sanitation workers reached the municipality office from the Niwai bus stand and raise their demands.

In Niwai, there is resentment among sanitation employees for not providing services to the employees of the nonValmiki community, due to which the Niwai Safai Karamchari Union are on strike. The EO Mahima Dangi informed that according to the rules, she has issued notices to the employees of the non-Valmiki community and action is being taken against them as per rules.
