Bhilwara: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Badliyas Police Station in Bhilwara and other police personnel had a narrow escape on Wednesday as the sand mining mafia tried to mow them down with a tractor. SHO Shiv Charan signalled the tractor to stop, but the tractor driver accelerated the tractor and tried to injure them. “The incident occurred near Charwa Ke Hanuman Ji Temple in Badliyas area. Tractor was filled with sand and was signalled to stop. However, the driver sped up vehicle & tried to mow down policemen. The driver, Kamlesh Kanjar, has been taken into custody & is being interrogated. An attempt to murder case has been filed against,” police said.
