RVUNL chief inspects Kalisindh Power Plant, 2nd unit to start ops this month

Jhalawar: RK Sharma, CMD of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam inspected the Kalisindh Thermal Power Plant of Dora Jhalawar and gave directions to start the second unit closed due to maintenance work in Jhalawar soon. He said that the second unit which is closed for 24 hours must start this month and all leakages and other problems should be fixed.

Right now, in Jhalawar Kalisindh Thermal Power Plant, electricity is being generated from only one unit which is 1 lakh 44,000 units. When both the units start, power generation will be double.

In a special conversation with First India News, Sharma said that shortage of coal is the main problem and right now there is power crisis in the country, including Rajasthan.
