RSS LOBBY INCITING STATE DOCS AGAINST RTH ACT, SAYS GEHLOT

Kota: Claiming that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) lobby inciting doctors against the Right to Health Act in the State, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said the Act is in the interest of the public, so doctors should leave their stubbornness and serve the public.

“The recommendations given by the doctors to the finance secretary were all agreed upon but later on some four to five doctors, who are associated with the RSS, raised objections. It is not an allegation but the truth that they are from the RSS,” he said.

He also said the “four to five people, associated with the RSS, who misguided the doctors, are ‘Gaddar’ (traitors)”.
BJP and Sangh should not do this kind of politics, he added.

“55 per cent of a family’s earning goes in household expenses and people’s land and property are sold for expensive treatment. That is why we have brought the Act so that even the poorest of the poor can be treated,” he said.
