Robbery bid foiled at bank in Chomu

Chomu (Jaipur): A robbery bid at Bank of India, Dholi Mandi branch was foiled after the suspect failed to break into the strongroom in Jaipur’s Chomu town on Friday night, Police informed. Police said a masked men entered the bank from the back side of the building after breaking it’s window but could not stole anything. “The masked thief tried for three hours to steal the money, but he could not break into the strongroom. The miscreant also damaged the cash kiosk machine. However, he was unable steal any money. There was around Rs 18 lakhs kept in the bank premises which remained safe,” said bank manager Dayanand Meena.
