RHB organises workshop for Coaching Hub
Jaipur: A workshop was held with the operators of the coaching institutes of the state in the meeting room of the Rajasthan House Board (RHB) on Wednesday to run the Coaching Hub being built by the RHB in Pratap Nagar at Jaipur.
The workshop was chaired by RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora.
RHB Commissioner informed that suggestions were invited from operators of leading coaching institutes of the state to assess various needs and facilities for coaching institutes in the first planned Coaching Hub campus of the state under construction in the prestigious Pratap Nagar Residential Scheme.
“Almost all of the suggestions at the workshop were that, those who are already in this business should get priority while allocating space in this hub.
The ground floor will be auctioned in the hub, while other floors will be allocated and the terms of allocation will be determined soon,” Arora said.
He informed that there have also been suggestions to keep the rates appropriate in the Coaching Hub, on which the Board will keep a positive lookout.
However, RHB is building the hub not for profit but for the convenience of the people, Arora said.
The coaching operators also expressed concern for the stay of the students, to which the Commissioner said that along with this Coaching Hub, RHB will also auction some such plots where PG and hostels for students can be constructed.
Arora informed that in compliance with the Chief Minister’s Budget announcement, the first Coaching Hub of the state with a capacity of about 70,000 students is being constructed in Sector 16 of Pratap Nagar residential scheme of Jaipur.
“This hub is being built with an area of 67,000 sqm. The special thing of this coaching hub is that 30 percent of the land available here is being constructed and 70 percent area will remain open.
This Coaching Hub will be constructed in two phases and Rs231 crore will be spent on its construction,” he said.
The Coaching Hub will be constructed in two phases. Of these, 5 towers will be built in the first phase and 3 towers in the second phase.
A total of 8 institutional towers will be built in the Coaching Hub and in each institutional building, provision has been made to sell carpet area ranging from 5000 sq ft to 14,000 sq ft to coaching institutes.
“Each tower will be of 7 floors, with a total area of 1 lakh sq.ft. Surface parking will be developed under all these buildings.
A 7-storey library will be constructed in the Coaching Hub in a 50,000 sq ft area. Along with this, an auditorium with a capacity of 800 persons will also be constructed.
