RAS officer’s parents stabbed to death, accused held

Jhunjhunu: In a tragic turn of events, the parents of a RAS officer were brutally murdered with a knife. The heinous crime was committed by two brothers over a dispute on the road. The police swiftly apprehended the accused siblings following the incident.

The shocking incident unfolded in the Anandpuri village of Dhanuri in Jhunjhunu district on Tuesday evening at around 5 PM.

After the murder of the couple, the two brothers fled the scene on a motorcycle. Acting on the information, SP Rajrishi Raj Varma reached the spot immediately. The police launched a massive manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators, cordoning off various areas. The authorities successfully arrested Pramendra from Kant and Praveen from Anandpuri village. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has taken a serious note of the entire incident and has directed the Jaipur Range IG to take stringent action.
