Ransom sought on name of Lawrence aide Hrithik
Hanumangarh: A police complaint has been filed against an unknown miscreant in Hanumangarh for allegedly threatening a local trader and demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakhs. Police informed the miscreant posed as Hrithik Boxer, a member of notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and threatened of dire consequences if money is not paid.
“The victim has been identified as Parul Goyal. She received a WhatsApp call on January 25, wherein the accused posed as Hrithik Boxer and demanded ransom of Rs 50 to Rs. 60 lakh. The miscreant threatened to kill her and her family members if the money is not paid. The accused also sent the photographs of those murdered by Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the past,” police official said.
