Rajsamand: Three bike-borne miscreants rob jewellery shop, make away valuables worth Rs 1 Crore

Rajsamand: Three bike-borne miscreants escaped after committing a robbery in a jewellery shop. CCTV footage of this incident has also come to the fore. The incident took place at 10:30 am on Wednesday at the Jal Chakki intersection of Kankroli police station area of the city. The miscreants took away jewellery worth about one crore rupees kept in the safe and shop.

According to the information, Sanjay Soni has a jewellery shop named Rupam Gold on Jal Chakki Road. Sanjay's son Aryan Soni opened the shop at around 10 am. After some time a young man came and asked to show the jewellery. All the jewellery was kept in the safe. The shopkeeper asked to wait for some time. As soon as Aryan opened the safe and started showing the jewellery, that young man gestured to his two companions standing outside and called them inside.

Before the shopkeeper could understand anything, two miscreants pointed pistols at Aryan and employee Madan and made them sit in a corner. After this, they kept the loot in a bag and ran away.
When the businessman came out shouting, the people around came to know about it.

After getting the information, SP Sudhir Joshi and ASP Shiv Lal Bairwa reached the spot. The city was cordoned off and CCTV footage was scanned. In the CCTV footage, the miscreants are seen going on the bike wearing helmets. He also has a bag full of jewellery in his hand. Here, after the incident, nearby traders also came out of their shops and expressed anger over the incident.

SP Sudhir Joshi said that the estimated value of the looted goods is around Rs 1 crore. More than 12 police teams have started searching for the accused. Two bikes were used in the incident.
