Rajkumar Roat announces formation of BAP

Dungarpur: Bhartiya Tribal Party MLA Rajkumar Roat from Chaurasi assembly seat of Dungarpur district announced the formation of a new party. He said that he has no relation with BTP now. The process of formation of his new Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP) is on. After this, his party will field its candidates on all the 17 seats in the TSP region of the state in the upcoming assembly elections.

In the tribal populated Dungarpur district, two MLAs of BTP won two seats out of four in the last assembly elections. Roat became MLA from Chaurasi assembly seat and Ramprasad Dindor won from Sagwara seat. But after becoming MLAs, BTP did not work according to the intention of both the MLAs, due to which they broke their ties with the party
