‘Raje statement’ misinterpreted, clarifies Gehlot

Nagaur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was on a one-day visit today to the Nawan assembly constituency of Nagaur district where he visited the inflation relief camp in Muana village.

Speaking on his statement on Vasundhara Raje, CM Gehlot said that the meaning of his statement has been misinterpreted.

“There was a time when all politicians used to meet each other. At the time of Bhairon Singh ji, my leaders used to meet Bhairon Singh ji and his MLAs used to come to meet me. But now it is not like that. Some people, including Vasundhara’s advisor, and people like Rajendra Rathore never wanted our relations to be good, that’s why I never had good relations with Raje. But he (Rajendra Rathore) also cheated Bhairon Singh ji and clung to Vasundhara Raje,” he said.

Gehlot sarcastically said that Raje works with a sense of revenge. She stopped many of my schemes.
