Rajasthan: Strict action to be taken against those tampering with wildlife, says CM Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directed the officials to take strict steps to prevent incidents like tampering with wildlife in the forest area of Rajasthan.
  
While addressing the review meeting of the Forest Department at his residence, Gehlot also asked to spread awareness regarding the safety and protection of wildlife among tourists.

Furthermore, to promote eco-tourism in the State, Gehlot directed to develop 'Lav-Kush Vatika'. He said that such models related to forest and wildlife should be established in the gardens, from which children can get education about environment and wildlife conservation.
  
During the meeting, Chief Minister also reviewed various projects of the department and directed the officers to complete all the announcements in a planned manner on time.
  
At the same time, Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Hemaram Choudhary said that continuous efforts are being made by the department to complete the budget announcements on time.
