Rajasthan: CM Gehlot announces a new Tehsil

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the creation of a new sub tehsil “Koyla” in the Baran district. With this decision of Gehlot, people will get ease in revenue works at the local level only.

In the new sub-tehsil, 3 land records inspector circles, 12 patwar circles and 42 revenue villages will be included.

It is noteworthy that during the budget session of 2021-22, Gehlot has opened various new tehsil offices in the state for expansion and strengthening of administrative units and announcements were also made to open new sub-tehsil offices.

In the sequence of these announcements, the Chief Minister has given the approval to create a new sub-tehsil in the Baran district.
 
Ashok Gehlot had approved the proposal to upgrade Kurabad and Nayagaon sub-tehsils of Udaipur district as new tehsils. With this decision of Gehlot, people will get ease in revenue works at the local level itself.

In the new Tehsil Kurabad, 6 land records inspector circles, 24 patwar circles and 107 revenue villages will be included.

Similarly, in Nayagaon tehsil, 5 land records inspector circles, 18 patwar circles and 88 revenue villages will be included.
