Raj will be a leading state of nation in next 5 years: Shekhawat

Jodhpur: Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Sunday told the media in Jodhpur said that under the double engine government of BJP, the State will reach new heights of development and progress. In the coming five years, Rajasthan will be the leading State of the country in every aspect.

In response to a media question about him sitting with former CM Ashok Gehlot at the swearing-in program, Shekhawat said it was an informal meeting. “When three leaders sit together, discussions are bound to take place. His and my ideologies are different. We are leaders of the same State, we can sit together, there is nothing new in this. I have to learn a lot of magic from Gehlot ji. He is a senior Congress leader and very experienced,” Shekhawat said.

About Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Shekhawat said this yatra will reach 2.5 lakh panchayats. “Every citizen should also understand his responsibility. PM Modi ji has resolved that the benefit of schemes should reach the person at the last mile,” he said.
