Raj police arrests Ajmer Dargah Khadim for threatening to kill Nupur Sharma

Ajmer: Dargah Thana Police in Ajmer have arrested a history-sheeter Khadim Salman Chishti for threat to kill Nupur Sharma in a purported video that surfaced on social media. Chishti was arrested and produced before a judicial magistrate on Wednesday. The court sent him on a two-day police remand. “Salman is a habitual drug addict’,” police said. 13 cases have been registered against him.

While arresting him late on Tuesday night, the police was seen explaining to him to say that he was intoxicated at the time of shooting the video. MLA Vasudev Devnani targeted CM Ashok Gehlot by tweeting that the police was protecting Khadim Salman Chishti of Ajmer Dargah. DSP Sandeep Saraswat, who is behind Salman Chishti, put his hand on his shoulder and said that he was intoxicated. In connection of Chisti’s police video Ajmer Dargah DSP Sandeep Saraswat was put on APO.
