Raj needs to do more work to compete with other dairies: RCDF MD Sushma

Ajmer: RCDF MD Sushma Arora on Thursday inspected the new plant of Ajmer Dairy. While appreciating the state-of-the-art plant, she inquired about 56 products manufactured from it.

After the inspection, the MD told reporters that Rajasthan has competition with big and private dairies of Gujarat but for this, Rajasthan needs to do more work. She said that optimum milk should be collected so that more milk producers can be benefitted. He said that many women are associated with animal husbandry but focus will be given on encouraging more women so that they can make themselves self-reliant. She said that women will be encouraged to participate in the milk production business under Rajivika Mission. The MD said that emphasis will be laid on providing better facilities to cattle owners by creating a platform to improve their income.
