Raj HC raps govt over discrimination against contractual workers

Jodhpur: In the case of contractual workers’ removal from service, a hearing was held in the court of Raj High Court Judge Arun Monga. The court strongly condemned govt’s discrimination against contract workers working for 10 years. Orders were issued to the govt to pass appointment orders within six weeks. Advocate Varsha Bissa presented the case on behalf of petitioner Asgar Ali Usta.

As per the advocate, the petitioner has been working for more than 10 years, and despite thousands of posts being vacant, he was separated from service. The petitioner had come before the court earlier also, and even after the order was passed, he was not given appointment.
