RAJ GETS MENTION IN ‘RAIPUR KI HUNKAR’ , TICKET FORMULA SORTED

Raipur: The 85th Congress Plenary Session ended on Sunday with the declaration of Raipur Call to Action (Raipur Ki Hunkaar) in which Rajasthan also found a mention.

“The coming year will see important state elections in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan and Telangana. Party workers and leaders must work with discipline, solidarity and complete unity to ensure our victory. The results of these elections will set the tone for the allimportant 2024 Lok Sabha elections,” the declaration said.

The party also said that its govts in Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan are models for the rest of the country and Rajasthan’s Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana and Chhattisgarh’s RG Kisan Nyay Yojana have set the bar for other states.

Meanwhile, it is also being reported that the leaders who have lost the last two or three consecutive elections may not get a ticket this time. Those who got defeated by a big margin in the last election will also be bereft of tickets.

It is believed that AICC president Kharge will soon form the committee, which will decide the criteria regarding the ticket distribution. Indications for the implementation of the report of the committee to be held in the current year where assembly elections are to be held.
