Raj cluster bean assn requests CM to do away with mandi tax

Jodhpur: Rajasthan cluster bean manufacturers association has once again requested CM Bhajan Lal Sharma through a press conference to do away with Mandi Tax (2.60%) as it was impacting their business.

They said that Jodhpur’s cluster bean business was dominant all over the world but due to the impact of Mandi Tax, the business is slowly collapsing. They have appealed to the CM to provide them relief by removing the tax in the budget to be presented on July 10. While talking to media, association president Ashok S. Tated and Secretary Shreyansh Mehta said that traders and cattle rearers are also worried because they have to bring animal feed from Punjab and Haryana at high prices.
