Bharatpur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that Rajasthan has become a model State in the country due to the schemes in the health sector. Gehlot laid foundation stone of development works worth Rs 333 crore and dedicated works worth Rs 95 crore at Nadbai in Bharatpur.

He said that free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh is being provided under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme and the state government is bearing the entire expenditure on heart, liver, kidney transplant and cochlear implant.

“Medicines and tests are being provided free of cost. Along with this, accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh is being provided to support in adverse circumstances,” he said during a programme in Bharatpur’s Nadbai assembly constituency.

“We have provided social and economic support to the common people by implementing budget announcements, public welfare schemes and important decisions on the ground. There has been no shortage of any kind in the development of every sector,” he said.
