Public welfare events mark ‘Jansevak’ CM’s Birthday!
Jaipur: Various public welfare programmes were organised on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on behalf of the Congress Party on Monday.
Interestingly, on the birthday of his mentor Ashok Gehlot, Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi pledged that he will not attend any wedding ceremony until the Corona infection is completely weeded out from the state.
The entire world is fighting a war with Corona, and this was the reason that CM Ashok Gehlot did not celebrate his birthday on Monday.
His message to his supporters was not to celebrate his birthday, but to give a social message, that too in accordance with the Corona guidelines.
Therefore, the state Congress Seva Dal activists organised a blood donation camp. The camp was organised in view of the importance of blood donation in these trying times of Corona crisis, wherein, State Organizer Hem Singh Shekhawat and his colleagues donated blood.
Chief Whip Dr Mahesh Joshi, encouraged those donating blood during the camp organised by Hiralal Meena Charitable Trust. Meanwhile, ‘Team Mahesh Joshi’ organised a blood donation camp at Nahargarh Road.
Additionally, a Jan Rasoi was also launched to serve Covid patients and their families. 500 food packets will be distributed daily at various Covid Centres starting from this auspicious occasion.
Moreover, fodder for cows, fruit delivery programme for monkeys was also launched on the occasion.
Moreover, Dr Mahesh Joshi presented masks and sanitizers to Corona warriors, policemen and sweepers deputed to render their services at Covid-19 Centres.
