Protest intensifies in Sujangarh, Sambhar over new dist demand

Churu: The agitation in support of the demand of making Sujangarh a district has been intensified in Churu’s Sujangarh town.

After NH-58, Chhapar tiraha was also blocked today. A long jam was also there on the state highway connecting Sikar with Salasar, which caused trouble to people.

Apart from the travelers, locals people are also suffering due to the blockade. GopalpuraDungar Balaji road, Ganoda Chauraha and state highway in Bidasar town were blocked on Sunday which caused heavy traffic jams in the areas.

Meanwhile, Sujangarh MLA Manoj Kumar Meghwal said that he will talk to the chief minister regarding the issue.
Looking at the bandh in the town, additional police force is deployed.

In Sambhar, market remained closed on Sunday in support of the demand of making Sambhar a district. People are angry over the announcement of Dudu as the new district.

In Sikar, former health minister Banshidhar Bajia and his supporters continued the dharna in front of Reengas tehsil office.
