Protest continues in dalit girl rape & murder case in Bikaner

Bikaner: The family of a 20-yearold Dalit woman who was allegedly gang-raped and murdered in Bikaner, have refused to accept her body.

Two police constables are among the three people accused of the crime. The family initially refused to allow a postmortem examination, but later agreed on condition of an investigation by SIT , compensation and a job for a family member. Protests continued on Thursday outside the police station. Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to probe the case.

A 3-member BJP team will visit Bikaner to talk to the family of victim.
