Promised action in 15 days but did in 1 day: Vishvendra

Bharatpur: The State government has declared 757.40 hectares of saivaichak land (land not mensurated in records) in Sikri and Pahari tehsils of the district as forest area after protests by saints and attempts of self-immolation of a saint.  Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh said on Friday  that the government fulfilled the promise of 15 days in one day and 757.40 hectares of land has been declared as forest area.  He targeted the BJP government by holding a press conference. He said BJP did nothing except forming a committee during its five-year tenure. 

“Some so-called BJP leaders are spreading misleading information about the death of Sadhu Vijay Das on social media. He is undergoing treatment in a Delhi hospital, however, hsi condition remains critical. The law and order in the district was not disturbed and it is our first priority,” he said.
