Probe ordered in ‘Gender reveal party’ in Pushkar

Ajmer: Many questions have been raised regarding the ‘Gender Reveal Party’ on the lines of America in Pushkar. The party was organized by a reputed family of city after which there has been an uproar. It is being alleged that blue and pink coloured balloons were used in the party, Blue being indicative of male child while pink for girl child. Organizing such a party after the sex of the child is determined after the fetal examination is a trend in Western culture, but in India it is also prohibited to reveal the identity of the fetus. After the disclosure of the matter, the CMHO directed the PCPNDT cell to investigate the matter. The resort owner also dismissed all the allegations and called it just a birthday party and rejected the claim of the gender revelation. He said that a conspiracy has been hatched to defame the resort.
