Ajmer: In the RPSC paper leak case, preparation is being done for action against commission member Babulal Katara. The Raj Bhavan is waiting for file from government and other legal consultations are being taken, along with the President’s approval. Governor can take action against Katara.

Notably, Commission member Katara was arrested in senior teacher paper leak case. The Commission had suspended Gopal Singh, but for taking action against Katara, since he is on a constitutional post, CM Gehlot and Chief Secretary Usha Sharma have written letter. For the first time in 74 years, a member of the RPSC has been arrested. Adopting legal process at Raj Bhavan level, concerned file has to be sent by the Raj Bhavan to President for sacking or suspension.
