Jodhpur: To defuse the tension after communal clashes in Jodhpur, a special Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva was performed in the Dudheshwar Mahadev temple with the wish that there should be mutual brotherhood and love in Jodhpur city and all the people should live together. People of Muslim society also participated in this consecration event.

BJP leader Rajendra Borana said that Jodhpur city has always been a city of adoption and it is also considered as cultural capital, but some antisocial elements have done this type of work with the intention of defaming the minority community, which will tarnish the image of city. He said that to bring peace and to give wisdom to the rioters, a special Rudrabhishek has been done with 51 kg milk.
