Police lathi charge on farmers, one injured

Hanumangarh: A farmer was injured in a clash between farmers and police this morning outside the venue of Prime Minister Modi’s virtual dialogue program at Hanumangarh Junction. The farmer is being treated at the district hospital, while DSP Hanumangarh Arvind Berad was also injured in his leg. During the march this morning, farmers smashed down the barricades using tractors near the event venue, prompting the police to use a moderate lathi charge.
