Police and BSF seize 4 kg heroin worth Rs 20 cr on Indo-Pak border

Bikaner/Anupgarh: Bikaner Range Police, in collaboration with the BSF, seized 4 kg of heroin worth Rs 20 crore during a major anti-drug operation on the Indo-Pak border near 33 APD village in Anupgarh. This is part of an ongoing campaign against drugs targeting smugglers.

Bikaner Range IG Omprakash Paswan said, “4 kg of heroin has been seized in Rohi of village-33 APD in Anupgarh police station area this morning. Its estimated market price is around Rs 20 crore. This consignment of heroin is likely to have been dropped in India with the help of drones from the area around 237 R village of Pakistan.”

IG Paswan further said that this year, a total of 256 cases of heroin and smack smuggling have been registered in Bikaner range. Also, 50.954 kg of heroin and smack have also been seized in which 22 cases were reg. Similarly, 83 cases were registered in Sri Ganganagar district.
