Police acts against organised crime in Bikaner division
Bikaner: In the last few years, sleeper cells of gangsters and miscreants were being formed in Bikaner but now Bikaner police is seen continuously in active mode. Now whenever a miscreant tries to run away, the police never hesitate to open fire and catch them.
Under the directions of IG Om Prakash Paswan, in the last few months, the police in the division are seen in an active mode.
Bikaner SP Tejaswani Gautam is also continuously active in the field. Two months after her joining, 10 henchmen of Rohit Godara and Lawrence Bishnoi gang were arrested.
Under the leadership of Lunkaransar CO Noparam Jakhar, fake notes worth about `20 lakh were caught.
By registering 38 cases in the Arms Act, 31 country made pistols, 5 guns, 108 cartridges and 5 other edged weapons were seized and 42 accused arrested.
133 cases in Excise Act, 54 in NDPS, 145 in Gambling, and other cases were filed.
Along with this, about 450 actions were taken in the ongoing Operation Clean in social media. Rapid action is also being taken under the leadership of Sri Ganganagar SP Deshmukh.
