PM Modi lauds Vice-Prez Dhankhar, people of Jhunjhunu in Rajya Sabha
Jhunjhunu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi described Jhunjhunu as land of heroes and said that there would hardly be any family here which has not played a role in the service of the country. While addressing the Rajya Sabha, The PM praised Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and said that Dhankhar, who is from a common man’s family, had a journey full of struggle. “His success will become an inspiration for the people of the country,” he said.
Referring to Kithana, the PM said that the country is seeing the achievements of the sons of Kithana. Praising Dhankhar, Modi said, “It would be icing on the cake. You have been a student of Sainik School. As a farmer’s son and a student of Sainik School, you have both the qualities. Prior to this, the PM had praised the people of Jhunjhunu during his earlier visit. Modi had said that people of Jhunjhunu know how to fight and not bow down.
