PM Modi ensures every household benefits from govt schemes: CM

Dholpur/Karauli: Thanking PM Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday said that as per his wish, now 90% funding in this project will be done by the Centre and only 10% contribution will have to be borne by the State Government.

Also, 122 more dams will be added to it.

He said that former PM late Atal Bihari Vajpayee had dreamt of river interlinking and a scheme was formed but UPA govt changed as it had no concern with people’s pain and they only know politics of ‘loot and lies.’

“Congress came out with a slogan of garibi hatao but never worked for it, and it was only PM Modi who ensured that the benefit of government scheme reaches every household,” he added.

Taking a dig at the Congress, he said, The Congress is concerned about just one family, while the BJP for the people of the country,” he said. Union Jal Shakti Minister GS Shekhawat said that the integrated ERCP will ensure availability of water for irrigation on 2, 80,000 hectares of land in eastern part of the state.
