Pilot corners Centre over misuse of agencies

Tonk: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Tonk MLA Sachin Pilot visited villages Nawabpura, Khajuria and Bamor under his constituency area and laid the foundation stone of various works while inaugurating various other works on Saturday. Earlier, Pilot took a meeting of District Administrative Officers at Tonk Circuit House and took the report of development works. After reaching Sports Stadium at Tonk, Pilot inspected the ongoing development works there and gave necessary guidelines.

“Efforts are made to intimidate the leaders of the opposition by filing false cases against them through government investigation agencies like ED, CBI, Income Tax so that they cannot raise the issues of public development strongly. This system is harmful for a healthy democracy,” Pilot said.
