People get jailed for criticising Centre: Gehlot

Bikaner: While handing over the guarantee cards to farmers in Bikaner’s Nokha, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot once again targeted the Modi Government regarding its policies on Wednesday. Gehlot said that those who criticise are put in jail as traitors. Today many writers, litterateurs and journalists are in jail who criticised the Modi government, he claimed.

CM Gehlot while addressing the farmers public meeting at Jasrasar of Nokha in Bikaner district on Wednesday said that the situation in the country is very serious today.

“Those who criticise are put in jail. I am also criticised and I welcome those who criticise. If criticism is for the good of the public then it should be welcomed. The judiciary is also under pressure in the country, institutions like Income Tax, CBI and ED are being misused,” he said.

During the programme, the Chief Minister got the beneficiaries registered while inspecting the inflation relief camp in Bikaner.

Chief Minister unveiled the statue of Bhamashah late Chaudhary Danaram Tard in Jasrasar (Nokha) and addressed the Kisan Sammelan. He said that late Chaudhary Danaram Tard was a great social worker and Bhamashah.

“Chaudhary Danaram Tard was always ready in the development and social work of the area. The unveiling of his statue will inspire the youth here for social work,” Gehlot said as he made three important announcements for Jasrasar, which include new college in Jasrasar, Gaun Mandi and upgradation of Jasrasar subtehsil to tehsil.

Meanwhile, in the Kisan Mahasammelan at Jasrasar, Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa again praised the Chief Minister and said, “Generally, Chief Ministers are spendthrifts, but Gehlot says take as much as you want from me. Such CM has not been seen anywhere.”
