Pathak and others protest for mandir mafi land in Karauli

Karauli: The Hindu organisations demonstrated at the collectorate and handed over a memorandum addressed to the Governor to the ADM at the district headquarters regarding encroachment on the land of mandir mafi. Activists led by senior RTI activist Ashok Pathak alleged encroachment on the temple lands. They also protested against the operation of an illegal slaughterhouse on the land of mandir mafi.

Pathak said that illegal encroachment has been done on the Kalyan Rai ji temple land. Pathak accused Aminuddin, the Waqf Board’s Sadar and Karauli Municipal Council Chairman’s son, of encroaching on the mandir mafi land. Pathak also alleged that illegal slaughterhouses were being run on the said land outside Masalpur Gate.
