Palace on Wheels reaches Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer: The luxury train, Palace on Wheels (PoW), operated by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC), reached Jaisalmer on its first trip with 35 tourists onboard on Saturday. The tourists onboard the royal train received a grand welcome at the station in the traditional Rajasthani style. The tourists from different countries including USA and UK reached Jaisalmer and received a traditional welcome with flowers and tilak on their forehead. Later, the tourists visited havelis and forts situated in Jaisalmer and clicked photographs. They visited Sonar Fort, Living Fort and the Sonar Fort Museum.
