Pakistani woman marries Churu man
Churu: Mehwish, a 25-year-old resident of Lahore, Pakistan, defied conventions and crossed borders to marry Rehman, a man from Pithisar village in Churu, despite him already being married and having two children.
Leaving behind her own two children and her life in Islamabad, Mehwish ventured into a new chapter of life with Rehman, whose first wife Farida resides with their children in Bhadra. Following her marriage, Mehwish was brought by her in-laws from Wagah border to Ratan Nagar police station, where she faced questioning and scrutiny of her documents. Mehwish said that she left Islamabad at on July 25. The family members left her alone at the Wagah border.
