Owaisi got disappointed in CM’s stronghold

Jodhpur: With assembly elections round the corner, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi visited Jodhpur on Saturday to strengthen public relations in Bamba Mohalla of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s home turf to seek his political ground but was disappointed there. He was expected to get huge support by meeting people of the society in Bamba locality, but in Bamba, which is considered to be a stronghold of Congress, he was neither welcomed, nor was there a crowded meeting.. While talking to the media at the Jodhpur airport, he “My aim is not to fight against any party but to see the victory of my candidate,” he said. Targeting the BJP over Junaid massacre in Bharatpur, he said that Monu Manesar has become a darling for them. On March 12, a public meeting will be organised in Gagariya village of Shiv assembly constituency near Indo-Pak border wherein, several leaders will participate.

On reaching Balotra, Owaisi offered Namaz at Municipal Council’s Town Hall. “Muslim community is not born just to vote, I am here to lend you the power to earn votes. Muslims are only being used,” he said.
