Kota: LS Speaker Om Birla, who was on a daylong visit to his parliamentary constituency, Kota reached the Bengali settlement at Dadabari late in the evening, where he performed the ‘Aarti’ of Goddess Durga. Speaker Birla also participated in the ‘Dandiya Mahotsav’ organised by various social organisations. Greeting the devotees on the auspicious festival of Navratri, Birla said that the festival of Navratri brings new consciousness and energy. “Our festivals spread cultural consciousness and energy. These days are also the day of worship of the Goddess with gaiety, zeal, austerity and penance,” he said. He also participated in the Jagran organised at Kunhadi area of city by various organisations.
